Half Man

Half Man by Simen Wahlqvist splits a pink figure clean in two on a bright green ground, the torso arching over backwards while the legs stand firm. The head hovers in the gap between the halves, wearing an expression somewhere between effort and mild complaint. It is drawn with Wahlqvist's usual economy, a handful of lines and two colours doing all the work, and it makes an absurd, deadpan anchor for a hallway or desk wall.
